A representative for Pi Craft pizza, A signature pizza establishment headquarterd in Henrietta, NY spoke on the subject of using drones to deliver their pizza around Henrietta, NY:
“We are still reviewing our options but nothing has been taken off the table yet. Customer satisfaction and safety are our top priorities with this matter but we generally like the idea of being able to deliver our pizza around the area. Considering we are a more ‘upper-crust’ pizza establishment, no pun intended, people dine with us or order take out. We use Grub Hub for delivery but have considered using are own means of delivery and drone delivery could be the answer to that.”
This also opens up all new possibilties for pizza catering. Imagine, for a moment, a fleet of drones flying with a dozen pizzas or so being catered to corporate party of some sort…
